Typical day in Laganas,

Below is a typical day in Laganas as a worker
12pm 3pm
This is a normal time to wake up while you are working
, if you don't have a hangover, (this is rare though).
After quick wash, hit the beaches or pools / get boats
out, cliff diving, water parks etc.
5pm - 9pm Get back to your room,
maybe time for a quick power nap before you eat and get
ready to go to work.
7pm - 10pm This is the time that you
would normal start work at, depending on your job.
If you are a PR then you might start work at
9pm - 10pm.
Barman on an outside bar around
8pm.
Barman inside a club around
11.30pm.
Glass collector around 8pm.
From the time you start
work and till you finish, around
5am,
you will probably work your arse off without a much of a
break, in extremely hot conditions, bit like a slave
labour camp but with good rewards. As whilst you are working
you are normally drinking, (a lot of drinking) plus
having a lot of fun with colleagues & customers
5am or when you finished work you then go out and
PARTY.
This often happens every night with the workers
(were out every night)
Sunrise, time to go to bed.
Get some food at any of the fast food restaurants
and then head off to bed for sleep, ready to do it
all again the next day!!! |

Basically no. All the other websites
will collect your email address and pass them on to only
the places they work with, this might be 3 bars 1 club
10 restaurants etc etc.
Your best bet is to make a CV up including some recent
photos of yourself, tell them why you want to work for
them and email every club, bar, restaurant etc you can
find in goggle.

| When is the best time to go? |

The season starts on
the 1st May. The best thing to do is to get a cheap
holiday at the beginning of the season and have a look
around. At least then you have some accommodation to
stay in while you are looking and if you don't fine
anything you have a flight home.
Now the season doesn't get started till the end of
May beginning of June, so you might be lucky to get a job at
the start.
Best time really is at this time, end of May, beginning of June.
This is the time that all the businesses take on people. |

| Advice for DJ's |

If you are a bedroom
boy DJ, stay at home. Most clubs here have their own
style of music but all of them require that you play
for the crowd and not what you want to play. Also a lot
of the clubs and bars need you to be able to use the microphone.
What is in need of here in Laganas are student style DJ's. DJ's that can
entertain a crowd all night. If you are one of them then
